Penny Sherrod-Campanizzi is President and Chief Executive Officer at Militia Hill Consulting LLC. She continues to leverage her experience in operational business development to help clients drive sustainable growth, profitability, and operational efficiencies. She spent over 30 years with a Fortune 500 energy and industrial engineering company; and for the past decade, she has led other midsize energy and industrial manufacturing companies in various executive roles. She specializes in assisting organizations experiencing negative operating income by establishing turnaround objectives, mining the untapped potential of employee knowledge in order to develop and implement strategic plans that leverage the business and unidentified available opportunities. Working with management teams to establish both collective and individual goals, Penny prides herself on ensuring alliance and accountability in achieving those identified strategic goals. She has been successful in bridging the gap between the C-suite and operational floor, leading to the creation of short and long term solutions that move the organization forward, even in the face of turbulent market and economic conditions.
Penny currently serves as a member of the Board of Directors at Compass Systems International Inc., a provider of process automation solutions, including highly engineered pneumatic conveying systems for automotive, pulp and paper, and metalworking industries. Penny holds an MBA from University of Phoenix and a BA in Business from Hiram College. She previously served as a Governor-appointed Board Member of Stark State College in Canton, Ohio.
Pete Campanizzi is Chief Operating Officer at Militia Hill Consulting LLC. Pete possesses an extensive background in senior manufacturing management, operations management and consulting involving company start-ups, mergers and acquisitions, plant operations, program management and process improvement. He has worked for major Fortune 500 companies as well as smaller companies. Pete has helped companies develop supply chain management protocols including procurement alternatives, supplier development and inventory management strategies. He has also helped companies implement make-versus-buy analyses programs. Pete has thorough knowledge of working capital management, budgeting and capital equipment procurement justification strategies. He has extensive experience in company acquisitions, expansions, plant rationalizations, consolidations, and closures in the United States, Canada and Mexico. He has also established regional manufacturing and inventory service centers throughout North America. Throughout these operations, Pete has ensured a detailed focus on plant safety requirements and workplace safety improvement practices. He is committed to process improvement in all aspects of manufacturing as well as supporting operations, and has utilized LEAN Manufacturing concepts and other focused process improvement practices. Pete is an accomplished leader and team builder. He is experienced in staffing analyses and effective human capital utilization. Pete holds an MBA from Baldwin Wallace University and Bachelor of Science degree in Industrial Technology from Ohio University.
